MIRA Snc was established in 1969 on the initiative of Mr. Carlo Raffoni and its daughter Prima. They have been successively supported by other members of the family that participate actively in the management of the firm.

The premises are in Savignano sul Rubicone (FC) in Emilia Romagna, the Italian region that historically has a gift for the engineering industry, where there is the highest concentration of agricultural machineries producing industries.

MIRA produces machines for cultivation, that is:

- Motor-hoes and walking tractors of various models and versions, the mini-tractor HORSY 4x4 by 4 driving wheels – rigid chassis, the mini-tractor CINGOLINO with rubber tracks, tools and accessories for these machines.

The specificity of these machines is their small size that make them especially suitable for small and middle farms, to work in narrow spaces where the big tractors can’t work, as in the row cultivations of vegetables, in the orchards and in green-houses.

The design of the machines is realized by its own Technical Department, which constantly follows all the latest developments in the field of components and mechanical technology.

MIRA have a bent for the exportation, in fact it has always exported about 60-70% of its production since its establishment. This is possible by the quality as well as the serious and precise assistance given to the customers.

The early foreign market was Greece, to which Cyprus, Malta, Portugal, Spain, France, Croatia, Turkey and Romania have been added. At present these are the country where MIRA Snc operates regularly by importers-distributors and agreements of gear-change groups supply.

It has made some exports in the following country too: Syria, United Arab Emirates, Germany, Qatar.

Since some years MIRA deals with new markets in Latin America as Columbia, Mexico, Nicaragua, Perù and the exports have started.

In Italy MIRA is present in all central and southern provinces by sales-concessionary.

MIRA is member of the Export Consortium CERMAC of Bologna.

MIRA attends regularly, with a stand, the international agricultural machinery manufacturers exhibition EIMA that happens in Bologna in November.
